滤袋是袋式除尘器运行过程中的关键部分，通常圆筒型滤袋垂直地悬挂在除尘器中。滤袋的面料和设计应尽量追求高效过滤、易于粉尘剥离及经久耐用效果。 在脉冲和气箱式脉冲除尘器中，粉尘是附着在滤袋的外表面。含尘气体经过除尘器时，粉尘被捕集在滤袋的外表面，而干净气体通过滤料进入滤袋内部。滤袋内部的笼架用来支撑滤袋，防止滤袋塌陷，同时它有助于尘饼的清除和重新分布。
